				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Guess what guys? This is my last official blog post for Fit Minded Mom.</p>
<p>It has been a fun run(no pun intended) but I just don&#8217;t feel like this is the place for me any longer. While I have enjoyed my time writing and sharing my fitness and healthy food endeavors with you all, it is simply time to move on.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t you worry though, I am by no means giving up the blogging thing, I am simply revising it. Rather than continue here, I decided to start a new blog, called <a href="http://mixitmom.com" target="_blank"><em><strong>Mixing It Up!!</strong></em></a></p>
<p>If you have been a reader for any length of time you have probably seen how I have struggled with keeping my blog centered on mostly healthy topics. While healthy living is most definitely a part of my life, it isn&#8217;t my only life. I have so many other interests, many of which include family and friends, reading great books, food(of ALL kind), and yes even fitness. I still plan on blogging about the healthy topics but my new blog will not be necessarily be centered around it.</p>
<p>I have to say, I am quite excited about my new blogging venture and feel like a writing weight has been lifted from my shoulders!! I sure hope that you will continue to follow me, read along and comment often!! If not, that is okay, too. <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sayonara Winter, and hello Spring!!! Today is the first day of Spring and I could not be more excited about it, y&#8217;all!!!</p>
<p>To celebrate, this morning I headed out for a nice two mile walk/jog around my neighborhood. It was actually a bit chilly when I started out(50 degrees) but I warmed up a couple minutes into it and really enjoyed the slightly cooler temps, especially with the sun shining down on me.</p>
<p>You know what else made my run enjoyable?</p>
<p>My new IPhone 5!!!</p>

<p>Yesterday I found out I was eligible for an upgrade and boy was it needed. My last <del>piece of crap</del> phone,  the Samsung Infuse was irritating me on a daily basis. It was constantly freezing and frustrating me so I was pleased to get rid of it. Of course, I am a cheap-o as I have mentioned many times before so I figured I would just get the free upgrade(IPhone 4) or the 4s if I was really convinced by the salesperson.</p>
<p>I went to Best Buy to upgrade and they have a phone trade-in policy. I was able to trade my old phone in and get a $105 credit towards a new IPhone. Now, <em>that</em> is what I am talking about, people!! Long story short(ish), I ended up with the IPhone 5 and couldn&#8217;t be happier with it!! I also ended up with an $80 case to protect it because this momma can&#8217;t afford to purchase a new one before her two years are up. Ha!!</p>
<p>Back to that whole workout thing now!! After my run, I came home and did a quick upper body workout. It may have been quick but it <em>killed</em>. There was really no rhyme or reason to it but it kind of looked like this:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>bicep curl to shoulder pess</strong></li>
<li><strong>overhead tricep extension</strong></li>
<li><strong>triple scoops(these <em>kill</em>, for <em>real</em>!!!)</strong></li>
<li><strong>salt and peppers(another killer!!)</strong></li>
<li><strong>tricep kickbacks</strong></li>
<li><strong>pushups</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>I did about a minute of each exercise without rest and then went back through and did a few more randomly. Cause I am like that&#8230;.kind of random, ya know <img src='http://s1.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>After working out I was S-T-A-R-V-I-N-G!! I should mention that it was almost 10am by this time and all I had consumed thus far was a cup of coffee. Bad girl.</p>

<p>I whipped up a quick breakfast of Ezekiel raisin toast with some natural peanut butter and a cup of Oikos Banana Creme Yogurt. Delicious and filling. Sort of. It will at least hold me over until lunch time which will be happening in oh&#8230;.about 45 minutes!!</p>
<p>Now however, it is time for me to get cleaned up because I have some errands to run. Between my little Liam having his <strong>5th birthday party</strong> this weekend and Easter next weekend, I have some major party planning to get finished up.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Good morning!</p>
<p>You may have come to my page this morning and noticed a new header on my blog? If you didn&#8217;t notice, that is okay, too!! What is up now is very simple and hopefully, very temporary. Well semi-temporary I guess. I have hopes of getting someone to actually design a blog header for me but to be honest, I don&#8217;t know where to start. I don&#8217;t want to pay an arm and a leg, after all this is a <em>hobby</em> and nothing more!  I want it to remain simple but FUN so if y&#8217;all happen to know someone you can recommend, I would love for you to share their info!!</p>
<p>I also changed my &#8220;tag line&#8221; up. It used to read: &#8220;A healthy life is a happy life&#8221; but now it says, &#8220;Where family, food and fitness meet&#8221;. I sometimes felt stuck with the former and felt like I couldn&#8217;t stray too far away from all things health and fitness related. Though, obviously I did. <em>A lot</em>. Anyhow, I feel like I have opened up what I can write about and make my blog centered on everything, not just fitness. That will still be a big part of it but you know, I certainly don&#8217;t live my life focused on only one thing so I don&#8217;t want to write my blog like that either <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p><strong>Saturday</strong></p>
<p>Saturday started bright and early for me because I had a hair appointment at 7:30am. Soooo early for a weekend but the lady I use books up quickly and weeks in advance so I pretty much take what I can get.  Though I like to sleep in on Saturdays, I have to admit, it was nice to be back from my appointment and running errands by 11am. Less traffic=much easier time getting things done!!</p>

<p>I had some blonde highlights added for Spring/Summer and I love it!! It brightens up my face and my attitude!! I really like super dark hair but I am coming to realize that it looks better on other people than it does me. I by no means should be blonde(been there, done that!!) but an in-between works well <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> .</p>
<p>I have to share with y&#8217;all a delicious new &#8220;treat&#8221; I came across this weekend.</p>

<p>Chocolate chip cookie dough, Quest bar. O.M.G. This bar is G-O-O-D!!! I have been searching for it at GNC for a while now but they were always out. Luck was with me when I went in this weekend because they had just received a box of them. While I have had Quest bars before and enjoy some of them(some others, not so much) none of them to compare to this one. It tastes just like a chocolate chip cookie!!! And since GNC had a deal of Buy 3 Get 1 free, I stocked up!!</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Is Spring Break over yet?</p>
<p>Just kidding! <img src='http://s1.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' />  I am actually really enjoying my week but it has left me little time for much of anything else, like blogging. Reading <em>or</em> writing. The thing is, I promised myself I would try to be more &#8220;present&#8221; with my kids this week. Truly interact with them and give them large amounts of my attention.(Or should I say LARGER amounts) I still have to fit in my workouts, house cleaning and errands so blogging had to go on the back burner this week and that is A-OK!! I won&#8217;t lie though, I am kind of looking forward to school starting again on Monday and having a bit of a breather!!</p>
<p>Want to see some of what we have done this week?</p>
<p>Well, I would love to show you but my <strong>stupid phone</strong> will not upload my pics to Picasa for <em>anything</em>. It has been acting goofy for a week now and it is really starting to get on my nerves. I depend on my camera phone for easy pics while I am out and about but what is the point if I cannot share them? Grrrr!!!</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s just say that it has been a nice mix of visiting local places like the Fort Worth Log Cabins(educational and fun), play dates with friends along with park visits, while mixing it up with some fun playtime at home.</p>
<p>Play-doh is my enemy but my kids love it so I found a solution. Play outside with it until your little hearts are content and then it is easy breezy clean up for me.</p>

<p>Again, I have to throw credit to <a href="http://www.sweettoothsweetlife.com" target="_blank">Courtney</a> for the idea!! My kitchen life would be quite boring if I weren&#8217;t always copy-catting her meals, lol!!</p>
<p>The original recipe is actually one from <a href="http://www.skinnytaste.com/2013/03/cheeseburger-casserole.html" target="_blank">SkinnyTaste</a> but I never knew about it until I saw Courtney&#8217;s post so that is why she gets the credit!</p>
<p>This casserole tasted so similar to a cheeseburger that it was crazy!!! My craving was certainly fulfilled.</p>
<p>The green things you see on top, that is pickle. Sounds weird, right? I promise, it tastes SOOOOO good!!!</p>

<p>The casserole serves 9 so you are able to eat a nice sized portion for under 300 calories. I like that!! Don&#8217;t you hate when you make something that tastes really good but the portion size is so small that you aren&#8217;t even close to full?</p>

<p>It was a great workout and I felt the burn for sure!! Especially since the warmup and cool downs are done on a giant hill. Let&#8217;s just say that between leg day yesterday and the Tabata workout from today, sitting down on the toilet might be pretty hard tomorrow. I love it, though. I am ready to start seeing some physical changes to my body and I know workouts like this will make it happen. Short and sweet but most of all: EFFECTIVE!!!!</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>How&#8217;s it going this Monday? I can&#8217;t complain over here!!</p>
<p>Today starts Spring Break for my kids but we are using today as a &#8220;relax&#8221; day. Today is the only chilly day out of the entire week so it worked out perfectly for staying home. The rest of the week will be in the 70&#8242;s and 80&#8242;s so I plan to spend many hours outdoors. I just LOVE Spring!! Now that we have &#8220;Sprung forward&#8221;, it really feels like Spring time. I couldn&#8217;t help but smile when I looked at the clock at 7:00pm last night and the sun was still shining bright.</p>
<p>Now, I just have to hope that the weather is mild this season and does not bring any dreaded tornadoes to our area!!</p>
<p><strong>Weekend Fun</strong></p>
<p>My weekend fun consisted of batch cooking up a large amount of food for Lance and I to have for breakfast and lunch this week.</p>

<p>All of that prepping and cooking took a good 2.5 hours but it will make the rest of the week a breeze, at least I hope so!! However, next week I think I will be a bit smarter and just make double or triple of what we have for dinner next Sunday night. Doh!! Why didn&#8217;t I think of that sooner. <img src='http://s1.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Last night&#8217;s dinner was phenomenal and I have to give all credit to <a href="http://www.sweettoothsweetlife.com/" target="_blank">Courtney at Sweet Tooth Sweet Life</a> because it was her recipe, with a few very minor changes.</p>

<p>Last weekend we happened to be at a new to us store and they had ground chicken breast for a great price. I am always leery of anything ground, unless it is beef or turkey. However, I remembered seeing this recipe on Courtney&#8217;s blog at an earlier time and thought this would be the perfect time to make it.</p>
<p>I did make a few substitutions because there were some items I was missing in my cupboard but it was no big deal and worked out perfectly. I didn&#8217;t have buns on hand but that was no biggie. I just whipped up a side of <a href="http://fitmindedmom.com/2012/06/12/my-tuesday-top-five/" target="_blank">Roasted Ranch Red Potatoes</a> as our carb.  Also, I didn&#8217;t have any marinara sauce in my cabinets but I did have an awesome supply of canned tomato products from <a href="http://www.redgold.com/" target="_blank">Red Gold</a>. Last month they sent me some of their products to try out and boy are they good!!</p>

<p><em><strong>Mission Accomplished, Red Gold!!!</strong></em></p>
<p>Last night, I used a can of Red Gold diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano seasoning as my marinara sauce.</p>

<p>I just emptied the can into my Ninja, pulsed for a few seconds and had a delicious sauce. It was <em>so fresh tasting</em> and I actually liked it even more than traditional spaghetti sauce!!</p>
<p>My family gobbled up this dinner and my husband requested that it be put into regular rotation. No problem, honey!! I got you covered on that one <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

<p><strong>Workout</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Today&#8217;s workout consisted of a nice upper body workout(chest and triceps done circuit style) that left my arms nice and wobbly. It isn&#8217;t a plan I can share because I got the workout from a program that was actually purchased. It is part of a 6 week at home workout guide. It is going to be perfect for me because the workouts are broken up into 5 days of training per week. 3 workouts are weight based and the other 2 workouts are HIIT based. The best part: each routine can be done in 20-30 minutes. Of course, that means you really have to push and give it your all to see results but I am cool with that!!</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>2 miles on the gym treadmill. I was able to get my kids to the gym(and to behave while I was there) for a quick 20 minute cardio workout. Cardio is not my fave but it is essential right now because I am pretty serious about getting 5-10 pounds off my frame. Once I reach my goal, I will cut back on the cardio and just do the 2 days in the 6 week workout plan.</li>
</ul>
<p>I have mentioned my friend before because I truly believe in the workouts/cookbooks/e-books that she offers. <p>Next week is Spring break for my kids and I am pretty excited about it!! Not only do I get to spend time with them doing fun stuff but it also means that my mornings will be more relaxed for a week. Can I just tell you how much I do NOT love packing lunches every morning. Especially when my coffee hasn&#8217;t had time to take effect. The break will be nice!!</p>

<p>After going back and forth for months, I finally decided to bite the bullet(what the heck does that mean anyway?!) and book a trip to Disney World!!</p>

<p>While I myself have never had a raging desire to go, I know it is something my kids will love and have memories of for the rest of their lives. Of course, Disney is sooooo not a cheap trip but I <em>am</em> certainly a cheapy so I went as budget friendly as I could. We are staying at a budget resort(Pop Century) and while it is very basic it seems to be clean and that is an absolute necessity for me!!! Fingers crossed it isn&#8217;t bad once we get there!! By the way, if you have stayed there and have a horror story, please DO NOT share it with me. Let me live in my fantasy land, believing that it will all be quite wonderful. Okay. Awesome!!</p>
<p>Now that we got that vacation talk over, lets move right along to food shall we.</p>
<p>Yesterday I made Liam and I matching green monster shakes. I made mine Mama Bear sized and his Baby bear sized. I also used more spinach in mine and he was quite upset that I got more than he did. Seriously kid&#8230;.you are complaining that you didn&#8217;t get enough spinach? I can&#8217;t say I blame him. Mine is a prettier color green <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> .</p>

<p>I actually tried these a couple years back and while I thought they were decent, I could certainly take them or leave them. At that time, I pretty much decided on the leave part. I was at GNC the other day picking up some vitamins for Lance and I noticed that Quest bars were now in the store(used to be available online only) and that there were several new flavors. I REALLY wanted to try the chocolate chip cookie dough but they were out. Boo!!! However, I did get the chocolate peanut butter and coconut cashew to try out. The chocolate peanut butter was so super yummy!!! I have yet to try the coconut cashew but since I have a Costco trip planned for later this morning, I have a feeling it will end up being my snack!! Costco without a full, satisfied belly = a really bad idea!!</p>
<p>Now that we have covered food, let&#8217;s see if we can get some fitness talk going on up in here!</p>
<p>I feel really great about all of my workouts this week!! I don&#8217;t know if it is because I took a week off due to illness or if it is because I am really enjoying what I have been doing. Pretty much, I am changing it up every day(even slightly) to keep myself from getting bored.</p>
<p>One thing that has helped with that is the website <a href="http://www.dailyhiit.com/" target="_blank">The Daily Hiit</a>. You may be familiar with Body Rock which is also a fitness site with a huge following. The Daily Hiit is the same people who run Body Rock but in a new format which I love. Most of the workouts range from 12-20 minutes but they are stinkin&#8217; <strong><em>hard core</em></strong>. I love too, that you can pick a workout and tailor it to what you are wanting to accomplish. They also give modifications for beginners and I will admit that I have had to use a few and I do not consider myself to be a beginner at all. The best part: All workouts are FREE!!! I love free stuff because remember&#8230;..I am a cheap-o!!</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Let&#8217;s see if I can manage to type this post without screaming out in pain!! Okay, it&#8217;s not <em>that</em> bad but my shoulders are on fire from a killer workout yesterday. A good kind of pain though. I love that feeling of being sore after a good workout, especially when it doesn&#8217;t happen as often anymore!!</p>
<p>It is a good thing that we are incorporating clean eating as a lifestyle rather than a diet. Last night, my daughter had her end of the season basketball party at CiCi&#8217;s pizza. If you have ever been you know that there are very limited healthy eating option. For what I had to choose from, I am quite happy with the choices I made. And you know what, it felt SO GOOD to walk out of there knowing that although I wasn&#8217;t able to eat completely clean, I didn&#8217;t have to feel guilty about it. If I had put myself on a &#8220;diet&#8221; I would still be beating myself up!!</p>
<p>Alrighty, now it is time to see just what I ate yesterday.</p>
<p><strong>What I Ate Wednesday</strong></p>

I hate to waste food and this cereal needed to be finished up so I had a cup (one serving) along with a sliced banana and almond milk. Of course, there was also a delicious cop of coffee but I didn&#8217;t snap a picture.</p>

<p><strong>Meal 2: </strong>Leftovers!! <a href="http://fitmindedmom.com/2013/02/04/where-i-lost-my-trader-joes-viriginity/" target="_blank">Blue cheese stuffed buffalo turkey meatballs</a>, quinoa with sun dried tomatoes and asparagus added in. So, So Good!!! Franks hot sauce is definitely a staple in our house. I put that sh*t on everything!!!</p>

I had this shortly before heading to CiCi&#8217;s so that I would be less likely to indulge in pizza. It worked!! If you haven&#8217;t made this bread, I highly recommend that you make it like NOW!!!</p>

<p><strong>Meal 5:</strong> Like I said before, CiCi&#8217;s has pretty limited healthy options(if any) but I did the best with what I had. I started out with a salad, topped with light Italian dressing and a bowl of chicken noodle soup. The chicken was actually fake little cubes of something so I picked around that and ate the broth, noodles and veggies. I did help myself to one piece of pizza but hey, it has spinach on it so it couldn&#8217;t be all bad, right? Right?!</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The day is bright and shiny and I have to say, I think my attitude it going to match the day!! I am actually going to try to make this a quick post because I need to get my house all nice and clean so that I can get outside and enjoy the GORGEOUS 85 degree weather. Spring is in the air and it cannot get here fast enough for me!!!</p>
<p>So let&#8217;s talk about this weekend. It was actually fairly busy but I didn&#8217;t take many pics to document it. Sorry about that but you know, sometimes it is much more fun to just <em>enjoy</em> and not worry about having the camera handy.</p>
<p>Saturday finished up the basketball season for Camryn. Her team was really good this year but Camryn kind of struggled to keep up with many of the girls. In all fairness, she is the smallest on her team AND she is the only one who had never played before. Bless her heart, she is all arms and legs and it is quite noticeable on the court&#8230;haha. However, my baby girl got &#8220;Most Improved&#8221; for the season and she really did deserve it. She has made leaps and bounds in her ability so I was really proud of her!!</p>

<p>The last month or so, Lance has been on a journey to lose a few pounds. He isn&#8217;t big by any means but he realized that he could stand to be a bit lighter and leaner(for health reasons, too) but the process hasn&#8217;t been going as quickly as he wanted. The man was a beanpole in high school and up until recently could drop weight just by slightly altering his eating plan. It seems though, he may be in the <a href="http://fitmindedmom.com/2013/01/29/the-metabolism-slump/" target="_blank">mid 30&#8242;s metabolism slump </a>as well because it has become a bit harder. After talking about our diets and health this weekend we decided to really commit to a clean lifestyle, making it a family affair!!</p>
<p>We aren&#8217;t going to go all crazy or anything but we are going to try to keep processed foods to a minimum. We are going to buy the majority of our clean eating foods from Costco because if both of us(plus the kids for the most part) are going to eat this way, we will go through food pretty quickly. To give an idea this will be what our staples look like:</p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Chicken breast</strong></li>
<li><strong>Extra lean ground turkey</strong></li>
<li><strong>Tilapia</strong></li>
<li><strong>Oats</strong></li>
<li><strong>Quinoa</strong></li>
<li><strong>Organic Eggs</strong></li>
<li><strong>Plain Yogurt</strong></li>
<li><strong>Fruits like: Berries, Bananas, apples</strong></li>
<li><strong>Veggies: Spinach, Asparagus, Broccoli,  Sweet Potatoes, Onion and Celery</strong></li>
<li><strong>Natural Peanut Butter and Almond Butter</strong></li>
<li><strong>Almonds and Walnuts</strong></li>
<li><strong>Ezekiel Bread</strong></li>
</ul>
<p>Obviously, there will be other items as well but these are the groceries I plan to make sure we have around at all times. I have to say, I am really excited that Lance has finally jumped on board and I am proud of him, too!!</p>
<p>Another aspect of the clean eating is going to be batch cooking. I don&#8217;t love that part of it but it is necessary to make sure we have success with the it. Lance leaves for work at 5:30am so obviously that does not give him time to make breakfast in the morning. Before, he would eat a bowl of cereal and a fruit flavored yogurt. Not too awful in the calorie department but the sugar was WAY too much.</p>
<p>Yesterday I cooked up a bunch of egg muffin cups so that he will be set for the week.  He can grab a few of those along with some Ezekiel toast topped with natural peanut butter and voila, a clean protein packed breaky!!!</p>

<p>These were super easy to make, too!! Basically, you just mix up everything like you were making scrambled eggs, pour them into a greased muffin tin and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes!! Use whatever add-ins sound good to you!! I used an onion mix, feta cheese and some turkey.</p>
<p>Another thing to ensure our success: Make sure we have something we can munch on when we are feeling snacky. Obviously, fruits and veggies are good for this but sometimes you want something that feels a bit more sinful. <strong>Enter: <a href="http://www.heandsheeatclean.com/2012/06/clean-eat-recipe-jamie-easons-cinnamon.html" target="_blank">Jamie Eason&#8217;s Cinnamon Swirl Protein Bread</a>.</strong></p>

<p>This bread in INCREDIBLE!!!!! I even used less sweetener than recommended (I don&#8217;t like to use a lot of artificial sweetener, even Truvia or Stevia) and it was still super tasty. Lance even made the comment that it would be a fantastic dessert for someone who isn&#8217;t eating clean. I must say, I agree!!</p>

<p>Also, if you follow the recipe linked above, also know that I didn&#8217;t add the egg whites and it turned out just fine. I somehow skipped over that ingredient when I was making them, Oops!!</p>
<p>Just for the record, while this is definitely something we plan to make a lifestyle there will be moments of weakness and indulgence I am sure. Overall, our goal is just to cut out as much junk(processed food) as possible and replace it with healthier options. If we can make it so that we are following an 80/20 plan, I will feel as if we have accomplished our goal!!</p>

<p>How is everyone finding themselves on this Monday morning? If you were having too much fun this weekend to hop on the internet (and my blog) you can check out what I had to say <a href="http://fitmindedmom.com/2013/02/24/national-food-holidays-march-edition/" target="_blank">yesterday</a> if ya feel like it. If not, that is A-OK, too!! <img src='http://s0.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I was able to get some meal planning done this weekend which is always nice!! I have been so much better about it than I used to but some weeks I could certainly do better. I am pretty much excited for my menu this week as I think I have some yummy dinners in my future!!</p>
<p>We are going to start with last nights dinner because it was downright tasty!!!</p>
<p><strong>Turkey Sloppy Joes Baby!!!</strong></p>

<p>This recipe is one that I have made several times and it continues to be a hit. It is super delicious and comes together in about 30 minutes. The <a href="http://www.busybuthealthy.com/2012/01/19/turkey-sloppy-joes/" target="_blank">original recipe</a> actually calls for it to go in the slow cooker but let me tell you, it works just as well on the stove top!! I don&#8217;t know what it is but something about this messy meal just makes me happy. I think because it takes me back to childhood. I mean, who didn&#8217;t like sloppy joe night as a kiddo?!</p>

<p>To complete the meal, I roasted up some <a href="http://fitmindedmom.com/2012/06/12/my-tuesday-top-five/" target="_blank">ranch red potatoes</a>!! Mmmmmm, mmmmm good!!</p>

<p>I may change some of the days around based on what I am in the mood for but you get the basic idea!!!</p>
<p><strong>Workout</strong></p>
<p>I am still debating about whether I am ready to return to it today or not. I am cautiously optimistic that I am starting to feel better but I don&#8217;t want to overdue it and set myself back. I still have quite a bit of congestion and my ear is still stopped up but my chest doesn&#8217;t feel nearly as tight. I am thinking I will play it by ear(no pun intended!!) as see how I feel this afternoon. If my energy is up, I will pop in a Jillian Michael&#8217;s or Brooke Burke video and if not, I will just sit on my couch and be lazy.</p>
<p>Except not really, because I have a house to clean. That is exercise in itself!!</p>

<p>I am thinking that a margarita might do a better job of making me feel well than all this medicine I am on. I guess if I am not feeling better by tomorrow it is off to the Dr. I go. I just hate wasting money on co-pays and meds but I dislike feeling miserable even more.</p>
<p>Now back to that subject of food!!! Specifically, <strong>National Food Days</strong>. Since I didn&#8217;t do such an outstanding job of keeping up with the ones that just passed, I thought I would do a little research and see what was coming our way in March.</p>

<p>And for those of you who might like weird(read: GROSS) things like this, <em>March 30th is National Turkey Neck Soup Day</em>. I may have just thrown up in my mouth a bit over that one!!!!</p>

<p>As always I had a wonderfully delicious cup of coffee this morning. Actually, I may have had two but <em>shhhhhh</em>, don&#8217;t tell anyone!!!</p>
